In conclusion, linking back to our topic sentences, all these artefacts help prove our stand that although there is a difference due to urbanisation, the basic foundation is still present in today's hospitality.
From the present, the industry has been branched out to different sections (e.g. cruise, airline, hotels etc.), however, the basic notion of strangers to guests then to friends/acquaintances remains the same and it still apply in today's hospitality. However, due to technology, many things have improved due to technology such that interaction takes place before the guest and hosts even meet each other in person.
We believe that guest-host relationship still exists but however, their main priorities differ in volumes. The past hospitality was build through sincerity but the present one is build through standard and demand and it is through a set of belief that they must serve the hospitality to the receiver due to it being a divine right. In addition, the way they deliver their service is also different. In past hospitality, services were delivered through one party alone while today's hospitality is delivered through groups. Furthermore, in the past, the guests accepts whatever the hosts has to offer (basic accommodation or food) while in the present, the more the guest pays, the better/more hospitality services and facilities are provided.
Hence, we agree to some extent on the above notion that hospitality is the relationship between a guest and a host.
